Cozy for Fall (or Anytime!): Maple Pumpkin Overnight Oats<\/h1>\n

Every time fall comes around, I\u2019m ready for pumpkin everything! There are many reasons to love this recipe for maple pumpkin overnight oats. It has the pumpkin flavor I love, it\u2019s extremely easy to make, it\u2019s healthy, and the result is creamy and delicious. <\/span>This recipe is courtesy of my personal fitness coach, Rachael Bodie<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Choosing your ingredients for maple pumpkin overnight oats<\/span><\/h3>\n

Oats<\/span><\/h4>\n

You can <\/span>use either quick oats or traditional oats<\/b> for this recipe. Either way, if you have a gluten allergy or sensitivity, <\/span>be sure that your oats are labeled as gluten free<\/b>. While pure oats are naturally gluten free, conventional oats are often processed in the same facility as wheat, barley, and rye. Therefore, the oats can get contaminated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two brands my family and I like that offer gluten free oats are <\/span>Quaker <\/span><\/a>and <\/span>Bob\u2019s Red Mill<\/span><\/a>. We\u2019ve found that both brands are readily available in grocery stores in our area, or you can order on Amazon, particularly if you\u2019d like to order in bulk.<\/span>\"\"<\/p>\n

Maple syrup<\/span><\/h4>\n

We use our own maple syrup that we tap from trees on our property in Vermont. That\u2019s our homemade maple syrup in the mason jar in that photo of ingredients! <\/span>Be sure to use <\/b>pure maple syrup<\/b><\/a> in your recipe too – not only because you just can\u2019t beat the quality and flavor, but also because it\u2019s much healthier for you than any syrup replacement product out there.\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/p>\n

For other recipes you can make with your pure maple syrup, try the <\/span>maple slow cooker oatmeal<\/span><\/a> (this one feeds a crowd!) and the <\/span>maple glazed almonds<\/span><\/a> (a delicious on-the-go snack).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
